Here are suggestions: Store in moderate temperature and humidity, out of strong light, especially any ultra violet light. Avoid chemical or gas fumes, which include rubber fumes.

Make sure any store pens are emptied of ink and fully rinsed clean and dry before recapping. It can take months for a pen to dry internally. Shake out all the water and use absorbent paper to speed things. Leaving the cap off a few weeks or longer is a good idea. Pens are best stored in slotted trays designed for them.
